Paramount Group celebrates Silver Jubilee

Paramount Group, a dominant player in sea cargo, air cargo and in providing total logistics solutions to EXIM trade from the region, celebrated its Silver Jubilee on Dec. 14.

In a day-long fun-filled celebration combined with special dance and entertainment organised in Chennai, more than 500 people belonging to different branches of Paramount Group participated along with their family members.

Recalling the journey over the years since 1988, Mr. A.V. Vijayakumar, Chairman & Managing Director, Paramount Group, said: “To reach where we are today was a challenging journey with many ups and downs, good time and not so good time, smooth sailings as much as turbulent weather. What stood out strikingly, which still continues, was the will to overcome challenges and the heart to be humble at time of success.”

Dedicating the success of the company to its employees, he stated: “My strength and thus the company’s strength is each one of you, your contribution, your dedication and your untiring efforts to accomplish.”

“From the bottom of my heart, I must thank this team that has stood by me even during the worst of crisis, has excelled in many occasions to the surprise of many and was singularly focused to deliver – deliver beyond expectations,” he said amidst loud cheers from the audience in a tone of acceptance to his dedication of success to all Paramount staff.

Mr. Vijayakumar added: “Each and every member of Paramount is a brand ambassador of the company and I am proud to say that most of you understood this role and are playing a notable job – be it within the organisation or with our clients or in our work spheres.”

Making a fervent appeal to the staff to keep the company on top year after year in the EXIM trade, he observed: “While I dedicate this Silver Jubilee year and the celebration to the efforts of the staff, I am pretty confident that with more vigour, the team will aim to scale new heights.”

Paramount stands for dominance, supremacy and overriding and I appeal that our team practises these qualities to be dominant in their work, supreme in their efficiency and overriding in achievements, exhorted Mr. Vijayakumar.

He also presented mementoes to the employees and honoured their commitment towards the company. Besides Paramount employees and their family members, representatives of several transporters attended the celebration.
