CHENNAI: The state government’s adamance on going ahead with its integrated solid waste management facility at Kuthambakkam village near Chembarambakkam lake, a key drinking-water source for Chennai’s 70 lakh populace, has prompted the locals to start an online signature campaign to garner worldwide support to stop the project.

“Within a week of starting the ‘Save Chembarambakkam Lake’ online campaign, 722 people from the US, UK, Middle East and Chennai have signed the petition on the website (https://sites.google.com/site/kuthambakkam/), its coordinator S Nandakumar told Express.
“We are aiming at about 2,000 online signatures by November 30. A detailed petition with all the signatures will be handed over to the chairman and the member-secretary of TNPCB in the first week of December,” Nandakumar said.
R Elango, former president of Kuthambakkam Village panchayat, pointed out: “Contrary to what took place at the TNPCB-organised public hearing in September when villagers protested against the project, the minutes of the meeting released recently said there were only 15 representations against the project, whereas 650 were in support of it.”

  4. The plays involved with the MMORPG online games can have more than 2 players and
are required to play as teams. Unfortunately for those people,
game play can be a bit. The reason for this mania is that these
role playing games are fun and very challenging activities that give one the opportunity to take part
in all sorts of quests, accomplish tasks, build and create settlements and much more 100% entertaining stuff.
